Boy Scouts diggin our weeds

We went to the bishop sunday and asked for some help from the boy Scouts, was just surprised with a knock on the door today, we are ready to help.! So the Scouts and their leaders plus the Bishop came to help. The man in the overalls next to Doug is the counciler to the bishop came to take pictures for the ward wheel which is handed out once a month. So I like to see alot of trucks in my driveway.


That was awesome of them to help. The Bishop likes red, he has a red hat and a red truck. They did a great job! They were alot of help.

Fluffy & Messy

I am holding my other kitten her name is fluffy, and the wind is blowing my hair for the greatest messy hairdew of all. Our well shed is my laundry room in the background with a row of trees.

Fix it up swamp cooler Doug

Doug fixed my swamp cooler in my working shed, it broke once, then he found another motor and put it in yesterday, it only blows on high, It has a strong wind! But it feels nice.

HOT TUB HUBBY

HERE IS HOT TUB HUBBY!

Doug finished his Hot Tub a couple of weeks ago, and that was the last time he sat in it. It had a bad filter, so he needs to get a new one, when we get rich again. It might work without it, I don' know. But he has one now.

The Hot tub did not have a cover when he got it, but we found one when we was hauling gargabe to the dumpsters. someone left one in the dumpters on top, It was not in bad shape either. And it fit just right.

Flurty Freddy

Here is our new kitten, flurty Freddy. He loves to walk around my head and lick my chin and my ears. It sure tickles. We bring him in to feed him soft food on the table, but we do wash the table after. He sure likes people attention when we are around. He likes to climb on the table where I am painting, but I keep putting him back in the chair close to me. He sure is Fysty!

Weird faces, sleeping & stretching

Here I am holding the twins that were born to my niece, while I was visiting in June. I love these two little fellows, they are precious to me. I haven't held a baby for so long, I had the chance to hold 2 at the same time. It was hard to hold 2 babies, I had to hurry and give one back. It felt wonderful to hold them. I am use to holding kittens, cats and small dogs.

A Wonderful Family Visit

I Left to go Visit my Family this last week. Stayed at my mother's house to sleep over so I could visit my niece and her adorable children who are from St. George.

When every one came over to my sisters house, we all went to McDonalds and had a nice lunch and let the children play in the playground there, we did alot of talking there, I think I talked to much, that night I had a raw throat, Was trying to solve a solution to our financial problems.

That night I had a sore throat, and asked mom for throat medicine. I sucked on them, but never could find relieve. Then in the middle of the night, I felt side pain. It was painful, I couldn't get comfortable, so I didn't get any sleep, so I found some cold pills, then I fell asleep finally. But not much.

I slept alittle, got up, went on a 30 minute walk, the weather was great. I came back and I started to read, then I was tired, slept on my right side on my mothers sofa, waiting to go out to eat with the family. When I got up, I was in much pain, wow! So I took my mother's walker, and walked it out, then I felt better. I couldn't walk.

Then we all gathered at the Olive Garden where my sister Colleen works. We had a plast! I loved being around my Nephew's and nieces, and their children, I was in Heaven.

The next day I went walking around again in the morning, then I went to the store with my sister to get food for my nephews birthday party that night. It was nice to go with her and the boys. But my 19 year old nephew who birthday we were celebrating he wanted his birthday his way. I think he is going through some stress in his life, maybe about going on a mission, He sure was giving his mother a bad time. But I love him, and I have forgiven him. I hope he can do better in the future.

We had a great barbque, the food was wonderful and had a great time, my husband Doug came out to the Barbque. So I went back with him. I was still in a moderate pain, so I carried my bags to the truck.

When I went to lay down, I decided to go to the bathroom, For the sake of getting up, I couldn't do it. I called Doug on my cell phone to come and help me up, I had him go get the walker, He helped me up and I held on to the walker, the walker helped me alot, I couldn't walk, only baby steps. I was really hurting bad, the pain was so bad, I was sweating and shaking. there was something wrong, but had to wait for the next day to go to the Doctors. I sat up in a chair most of the night, didn't get to sleep that night either.

When we got to the Doctors we had to wait a while to get in. But it was worth it. I had a great doctor, he gave me some medication to help the pain and help me sleep. plus I still had a sore throat, I took my pills that night, I went to bed, I had to get up to go to the bathroom, I got up with no problem, IT WAS A MIRACLE! No Pain! So I felt great to travel back home. But the medication wore out, but I learn to walk around the truck with out the walker. We brought the walker home, but never had to use it. I was doing great on my own. Then I couldn't talk! Laryngitis struck me. Can't nag Doug now! God wants me to learn something.

I had a great Visit even though I did not feel good. Love that family of mine!
