Relief Society Service Night

Had so much fun quilting with the sisters in my ward! I haven't quilted for many years, so was fun to learn again, we tied baby quilts for some young expecting young mothers in the ward. some made cards for the missionaries, and some sisters took a goody bag and went to visit some sisters in the ward, we don't see much. Was an enjoyable evening, Then I helped clean up. Folded chairs, put tables away, helped with the food, just helped any one who needed help. One sister left her purse there, and I took it to her home, was greatful, and gave me some tomatoes.

Stucco Project

Doug's Freinds Steve and Teresa came from Salt lake to help with the Stucco. It really looks nice. The inspector came by and he liked it. Now all we need is a back porch. I have to put concrete sealer on it and the stucco is done. Need to level out the dirt. So there is alittle more work to do. The hard part was getting the stucco to look good. After the dirt is level and the back porch is built the inspector can pass the inspection on it. What a great feeling that is to almost be done with it.

Steve is grinding down the old stucco to make it look better, and work with better to put the new stucco on.
Teresa just started to put the new stucco on.
Looks so good! They did a great job.

Our Ward Camp out

Here I am finishing my bowl of fruit, after I went a walking around after breakfast. The fruit was frozen, so I went walking and came back and finished my fruit.
Trying to make a happy face with a straw and m&m's. from one circle to another.
Some ward members raped sticky rap around their heads and sprayed shaving cream on tope and kids threw cheetos on the heads and see how many cheetoz their is, is the winner. sure was funny, The kids sure enjoyed that.
Trying to balance 5 empty soda cans on top of a plate that was floating on water, had to stay 3 seconds to win. Melissa won! After I snapped the picture it fell.
I tried! Didn't do it! It fell after 4.
There was 12 golfballs in the tissue box, had to shake my booty to get them all out! It was fun! Ended with 4 inside. Darn!
This one was fun! We had a nylon with a tennis ball at the end wraped around our heads and had to knock all 12 bottles down, No hands! She won by one!
The Bishop in red won this one!
We went friday evening to Bacon Park north of Neola. Had potluck Dinner. Went back Saturday morning for breakfast, walked alot with the kids and other friends who wanted to walk with me. Then we played alot of fun games. Even the Bishop had fun too. We just made fools out of ourselves and had a blast! I took advantage of the games, I wanted to have fun! Enjoying life!

Semi Cleaning

I am officially an employee of C&T Construction Company, cleaning out Semi's, it's pretty fun actually. I have an 8 year old helper who tells me all finds of stories. I received my first check today infact. I worked 3.5 hours for them. 10 dollars an hour. I just go there when I don't work in the day for babysitting, I do housekeeping after the kids are taking their afternoon nap, when I do babysit. It wears me out. Like today, I was prepared to go babysitting today, but grandma had a day off of work, so I didn't have to go babysitting, instead I did a semi today, and I will be doing it for friday, and Saturday also, maybe Monday, so I get paid weekly. I try and do the semis from 6pm-8pm before dark. It takes me one semi to clean within 2 hours, they get pretty dusty and messy. I take all the stuff out of the truck, airhose all the dibree out, papers, garbage, whatever they have in there, airhose the floor out, vaccuum all the dust out, wipe with amerall, the interior, window cleaner for the windows, carpet cleaner for the seats, squirt the floor with the water hose, and brush away the dirt and sute away with a brush. I take grocery bags with me to put the stuff in to store while I clean then put it all back in the Truck. When it is dark I am done, and report my hours. It is my Freind Barbara Crozier whose family does it. It is mostly her daughter and daughters husband who has the company running. they have 5 semi's. I have only cleaned out 3 of them. One new one that is clean, which has buck bed in one. Pretty nice. I don't they used that one yet. but I enjoy doing them, and hope I don't fall out of one. I do alot of stair climbing. Have to hold on getting in.

New babysitting Job

Here I am with 2 cute boys I babysit, we are having lunch together, they love the lunchables, I stuck with my salad. We sure had fun together! We were running around the house, and playing pile up with blankets and pillow and stuff animals. They take afternoon naps, a quit time for mommy or whoever is in their care.

I have another cleaning job, cleaning out Semi Trucks. vacuuming and shinning up the seats and floors and whatever needs to be clean on the weekends. I start Friday night, maybe Saturday mornings. Who knows!

I feel better when I have something to do.  Doug has been having chest pains, but it is muscles that are hurting. so he has been taking it easy the last 4 days. Love you all!

Small Craft Fair

Was invited to a Craft fair this last Friday and Saturday, took our yard sale stuff, and tried to sell it on the Busy street I-40. It was mostly dead. Friday we made 23.50, saturday we made 13.00. Better than nothing.

I am looking for Babysitting/housekeeping jobs, Any close by where you guys live? Been looking here, posted ads at stores, library, business's, but no phone calls.

I'd go anywhere to babysit, or do housekeeping, just for curiousity, If I do not find anything out here, I will be going back to Utah County, and stay there, and see what I can do there, there should be more work out there for me. But I am checking into the elementary schools for something. right now I am only making $100 a week.

I was just playing in my head, if some of my ward members would give me 2 hours of housekeeping each week, that would be cool! Or babysitting. Something, I am a moving machine, got to keep moving. Not happy unless I am moving. I feel I am waisting my time not doing nothing. but hope I can find something soon, or I am out of here. Check it out for the fun of it and let me know if there is anything in your neighborhood. Just courious. Thanks

Our new little ones

When my neighbor had her stroke, she left her dogs behind, and we took them and we adopted one little one, and now she follows me everywhere. Doug was jealous, so he got him a dog also, so we are trying to give away our other dogs, he can't handle them anymore. We take them outside every once in a while to go bathroom, part of the day. Carol and Dolly, Doug and Bonzo.

Doug's Auto Hoist project

Doug started to Dig for his new Auto Hoist Project. digging for the cement pad, then the hoist.

Here is John our neighbor took over and started digging for Doug. Doug Hired him to get it ready to put the cement in. so it can set a couple of weeks.

Here is John again digging while Doug was trying to fix my wheel barrow so I can do more yard work.
Now that the pad is almost ready for the cement to be pored in. I got out there Friday Morning to put dirt in wheel barrows and transfer it to other places in the yard. Great work out!
