Remembering Alice Heaton

Today I went to the funeral Service for Alice Heaton, It was a very wonderful Service and fully enoyed it, and trying to remember her back in the day's I was a teenager in kearns. She was a very patient person, a sweet Lady who loved us for who we are. I started to remember her at girls camp. She was a great leader. The Heaton family lived around the block from us and lived in the same ward. Almost 40 years ago they moved out in the Basin, and haven't seen them since.
Verdene here husband was the patriarch then and gave me my patriarticle blessing and Alice type it up.

Then I started to go to the Vernal Temple after I moved out to the Basin, and saw Verden and Alice in the Temple, It was so wonderful to see them. So I was able to catch to talk to them there for breif moments and I treasure that memory cause it is a recent memory and Alice will be missed. I saw alot of her Temple freinds there.

It was great to see their children that I grew up with, and the other girls babysat us when we were children, I remember Jerri and Ina the most. I hope we can now connect and be close. They had the greatest spirit there at the service. I felt it there. They all have love for one another. I enjoyed all their talks about their mother. I really enjoyed when the 3 women sang Because I have been given much, that is one of my favorite songs, Verdene hugs both of her sisters when they stopped singing. That was touching! I want to get to know the Heaton Family more now. What a great Family!

Try not to cry!

This is beautiful!
She jumped up as soon as she saw the surgeon come out of the operating room. She said: 'How is my little boy? Is he going to be all right? When can I see him?'

The surgeon said, 'I'm sorry. We did all we could, but your boy didn't make it.'

Sally said, 'Why do little children get cancer? Doesn't God care any more? Where were you, God, when my son needed you?'

The surgeon asked, 'Would you like some time alone with your son? One of the nurses will be out in a few minutes, before he's transported to the university.'

Sally asked the nurse to stay with her while she said good bye to her son. She ran her fingers lovingly through his thick red curly hair. 'Would you like a lock of his hair?' the nurse asked. Sally nodded yes. The nurse cut a lock of the boy's hair, put it in a plastic bag and handed it to Sally.

The mother said, 'It was Jimmy's idea to donate his body to the University for Study. He said it might help somebody else. 'I said no at first, but Jimmy said, 'Mom, I won't be using it after I die. Maybe it will help some other little boy spend one more day with his Mom.' She went on, 'My Jimmy had a heart of gold. Always thinking of someone else. Always wanting to help others if he could.'

Sally walked out of Children's Mercy Hospital for the last time, after spending most of the last six months there. She put the bag with Jimmy's belongings on the seat beside her in the car.

The drive home was difficult. It was even harder to enter the empty house. She carried Jimmy's belongings, and the plastic bag with the lock of his hair to her son's room.

She started placing the model cars and other personal things back in his room exactly where he had always kept them She lay down across his bed and, hugging his pillow, cried herself to sleep.

It was around midnight when Sally awoke. Lying beside her on the bed was a folded letter. The letter said:

'Dear Mom

I know you're going to miss me; but don't think that I will ever forget you, or stop loving you, just 'cause I'm not around to say 'I Love You'. I will always love you, Mom, even more with each day.. Someday we will see each other again. Until then, if you want to adopt a little boy so you won't be so lonely, that's okay with me. He can have my room and old stuff to play with. But, if you decide to get a girl instead, she probably wouldn't like the same things us boys do. You'll have to buy her dolls and stuff girls like, you know.

Don't be sad thinking about me. This really is a neat place. Grandma and Grandpa met me as soon as I got here and showed me around some, but it will take a long time to see everything. The angels are so cool. I love to watch them fly. And, you know what? Jesus doesn't look like any of his pictures. Yet, when I saw Him, I knew it was Him. Jesus himself took me to see GOD! And guess what, Mom? I got to sit on God's knee and talk to Him, like I was somebody important. That's when I told Him that I wanted to write you a letter, to tell you good bye and everything. But I already knew that wasn't allowed. Well, you know what Mom? God handed me some paper and His own personal pen to write you this letter I think Gabriel is the name of the angel who is going to drop this letter off to you. God said for me to give you the answer to one of the questions you asked Him 'where was He when I needed him?' 'God said He was in the same place with me, as when His son Jesus was on the cross. He was right there, as He always is with all His children.

Oh, by the way, Mom, no one else can see what I've written except you. To everyone else this is just a blank piece of paper. Isn't that cool? I have to give God His pen back now He needs it to write some more names in the Book of Life. Tonight I get to sit at the table with Jesus for supper. I'm sure the food will be great.

Oh, I almost forgot to tell you. I don't hurt anymore the cancer is all gone... I'm glad because I couldn't stand that pain anymore and God couldn't stand to see me hurt so much, either. That's when He sent The Angel of Mercy to come get me. The Angel said I was a Special Delivery! How about that?

Signed with Love from God, Jesus & Me.

(Let's see Satan stop this one.) Take 60 seconds and repost this, within the hour, you will have caused a multitude of believers to pray to God for each other. Then sit back and feel the Holy Spirit work in your life for doing what you know God loves 'When you're down to nothing, God is up to something.'

mobile home video move

Pushing the Mobile home into place

The trackter that was pulling the trailer had to stop, and release it from the trailer then drove up, then they were figuring how to put it into place, so they put long polls under the front, and pushed it from the back up towards the 5th wheel even with the shed.

Trying something new

Since my stores or online stores are not doing so well, I have decided to make something that people could probably use. HANGERS! So I looked on google and looked for wooden handpainted hangers and I found some cute ones. I been having trouble of hanging my skirt on an ordinary hanger, so I thought of PlusSize Hangers. So I mesured my skirt and cut out a 23 inch hanger, and make a cow out of it. It is my first one, so it needs perfection. So I use it for my skirt, and designing other animal hangers which are smaller for kids, Who knows where it will go, I have designed a cow and a bear one, not like this one, it will be all wood.
Any ideas? Let me know!

Looking for a Career

Yes I have no employment! But there are careers to look into. I quit my full time job 7 years ago, because I worked too hard in twisting and turning and essembling where I could not move! Yes my shoulders hurt and between my shoulder blades, yes they still hurt, but I going forward and see what I can do as I am now.

I went to the Department of workforce Services to see my options. Well no fast jobs here unless your a man. The options I have are looking for a new career, go to the vocational rehab to see what they can do for me, apply for food stamps, I have applied for a grant on the internet and applied for some online college classes. Apply on the internet at the tech here. I am just open with options right now.

So I need to get online and do alot of registering for different things right now. I want to learn something that will benefit me for a good paying job.

Here I am playing the piano

Here I am playing on my piano at my favorite freinds home, I had it tuned, and I tuned a couple of notes that slipped out. So I bought some tuning tools so I could learn to tune my own piano, I have sanded it down, so when I get my Mobile home in place I can take my piano with me. We have choir practice there and I go there to practice my music. I do have a keyboard at home to practise on also. I love when the organ players for the Sacrament meeting ask me to play for them, so I can play the church organ in the chapel.

A year ago my husband became the Church cleaning person to assign the ward to clean the church, so he received the keys, and I and an awesome lady from my ward went up and practised the organ and piano there, we had fun, then the price of gas went up and then we had to stop it. I sure miss it. It take 15 minutes to church.

My church callings are Visiting Teacher, visiting Teaching Coordinator, primary pianist, and ward choir pianist. One Sunday I was the Sacrament meeting organist, playing for the primary children, then the choir all in one hour.

The Roosevelt 7th ward is the greatest ward of all! Bishop Killian is the Best!

Looking for a better future

Since my website and stores are not producing like they should, I have decided to see if I can find what I have wanting to do for years. But now that I look like Mrs. Doubtfire, I have made an appointment with the Department of Workforce Sevices on Thursday, to see what I can do with the rest of my life with my disabilities. Since I had trouble with my muscle spasm, I have been trouble catching up with my 3 miles walks. I am now at 1 mile, but I will get back. I am stariing over again. Anyway, I wrote a resume, so they will know my abilities and my disabilities. My abilities are painting, learning computer, and playing the piano.

I want to learn graphic art, or get into child care, or playing the piano for the schools or something. My disbility is my shoulders and back how they cramp up when I do too much work. I can't squeeze my hands and work with little things. So I hope they can help me in finding something to make some money.

My Husband lost his account in Salt Lake with the railroad, so with his business he is starting from scratch. He has the title, but no business, it is catching on around here. So he is putting an ad in the Newspaper tomorrow to help boost his business. He is a tire man, but how he is doing Lawn mowers. But he hasn't felt great either, He has put in for disability.

I am trying to get his blog built up, but he is slow about it. He needs to get some more pictures and more info for me. I have a small list of tires on there for him. So take a look and give some ideas I can put on there for him. http://dougsusedtireemporium.blogspot.com

My abilities are playing the piano, tole paint, cut out wood, do some on the computer. I want to learn graphic arts or something to make better money. since our business's are not doing well. So you know of anything else I can do?

A Visitor Testimony Meeting

Today in Fast and Testimony Meeting we had several visitors who gave their Testimonies, There was a blessing of a baby, and 2 baptisms. The Testimonies started out with the little children. Now That was AWESOME! Even the 2 boys were baptized got up and beared their testimonies, We never had that happen before. We live in a great ward! We are getting the Mobile home from The Nielsens in are ward. She speaks spanish. They are an awesome couple. They live up by the Cedar Ridge where some of your ward members work.

The 4th of July!

We went up to Neola and was able to see the parade there. We parked across from the rodeo grounds and tried to be in the shade. We sat on the back of our white truck and got a bag full of candy! Everyone was throwing candy. Before the Parade 3 crop airplanes flew low above the road and turned around and came back. Of course I forgot my camera! So no pictures there, Wish I had it! We got there just in time before lines of cars came up the street. They had some nice floats and Union High had a great band and cheerleaders, people on horses. Then I went back home to work for the rest of the day.

Doug paid his tithing and wow! That is a very huge blessing to us. Now we will have a front room now and can have quests over for movies, and dinner, and maybe games. And have real furnature to sit on. Doug sure is happy!

Doug took a picture from a distance. The renters need to be out the 15th. Then we can check it out.
