Here's where we stayed in the Green house by the mountian. That was cool!We stayed with Doug's Cousin Julie in Moab. She sure is a very special cousin, she was so sweet, she cooked us Dinner that night. She has a very nice home, her yard is beautiful, I was in heaven there, we had a great time together.
Here I am smelling Lilacs, I haven't seen lilacs for years or smelled them for years, so when I went walking I would grab one and take it with me when I walk so I can smell it while I walk. I walked around Moab, she lived 4 blocks from down town, so I walked downtown early in the morning before the stores opened. Had a very nice walk.
I took my jewelry with me to Moab, and when my sister-in-law came to visit us, I told her, I got something to show you, so I went outside, and brought my jewelry cases in, she sure was having fun looking! Yup she bought some jewelry. She was awed by what I had. All the rest of my keychains sold. But I bought some more.
Low and behold! A few more minutes other family members came, a few more was looking at the jewelry, Doug's other cousin bought some jewelry, then in the morning Julie bought some jewelry, it was cool! Alot of family came over to visit, and met more family, and learned who was who, and who belonged to whom. I felt comforable all around. We had fun that night! A Family get together.
Thursday Morning we arrived at the Monicello Temple at 11 am. It took and hour to get there from Moab. We Followed his brother Keith from Moab to Monicello. We entered the Temple, and the baptismal font was after the front desk, and you could the people baptizing for the dead, it was cool! We was a little early so they took us on a small tour, a small temple, but so beautiful! Reminded me of the Draper Temple. They sealed Doug's Mom and Dad together, which Keith his brother and his wife were proxy for their parents, then sealed his father to his father's father and mother, then last I was proxy for their mother, and sealed the 3 boys to their Father and Mother. Keith, George, and Doug. It was awesome, I was so happy to have been part of that. We felt they excepted the sealing. Keith and Jaynee's son staying in the waiting room.
After we were through with the sealing we went outside to take some pictures. The sun was shining, but the wind was blowing and it was so cold! Doug was sick with a bad cold, and had a hard time through the sealing, but he made it through. Poor Guy! Keith took this picture, he took this with my camera, he took another one with his camera with a timer so he could get in the picture, It was a cold day to take pictures, BURRRR! Then we looked around Monicello to go to Dinner, we finally found a very nice restaurant, it was a western restaurant with rounded wooden chairs. and mason jars for cups, played western music, one cook and it took a little while to wait. But we made it through. And Then we had to part with Keith and Jaynee and Janssen. We had fun together. We had an enjoyable time. Then after dinner we drove back to Moab to stay another night, Friday morning I went on another walk, went home packed up the car, left Julies home, then went to visit Doug's Dad's brother there for a little while, and found out one of his Sons, dougs cousin, had a art gallary in town so we went to see that and met him. Tim Morse is his name, He had a very nice studio. Then we were on our way back home through Price. It was a nice drive. Doug was sick, and didn't feel good still, so I was able to drive to Price so he could sleep, then he felt rested, and drove the rest of the way home. Then I unpacked the car, and put everything back in order. Forgot some clothes in Moab, didn't hit me until on our way to Price, so I bought a pair of clothes in Walmart in Price, went to the Dollar Tree. Went to Wendy's to eat, boy that place gets crowded, just had my chicken nuggets and small chocolate shake. YUM!
